Jay Fullmer is Treasurer of the Jeff Hill Legacy Fund and works for FedEx Express, flying the MD-11 out of Anchorage, AK.
Jay was born and raised in Franklinville, New Jersey and entered the United States Air Force Academy as a member of the class of 2004. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Military History and shortly after completed Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) and started his Air Force flying career in the C-17 Globemaster III. Through his 12 years on active duty, Jay flew over 200 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and became an Instructor Pilot and Assistant Director of Operations of the 517th Airlift Squadron at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Jay also holds a Master’s Degree in World War II History.
Although he never had the opportunity to meet Jeff, he has been deeply affected by Jeff’s legacy and is honored to help carry his name as a member of the Jeff Hill Legacy Fund board. He lives in Eagle River, AK along with his loving wife and two amazing children.
