Thomas Berry

Board Member

About Thomas

Thomas Berry is a board member for the Jeff Hill Legacy Fund and is currently a C-17 Pilot in the Alaska Air National Guard.

Thomas was born and raised in the Anchorage, Alaska area and enlisted in the Alaska Air National Guard out of High School. He served as a Satellite Communications troop before becoming a C-17 Loadmaster for the 249th Airlift Squadron. After serving 10 years in the enlisted corps, Thomas was selected for Pilot Training as a C-17 Pilot.  He has been deployed several times throughout his Air National Guard career in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

As a loadmaster, Thomas flew missions and local training sorties with Jeff. He remembers Jeff for his positive attitude and zest for life.  Thomas still lives in Anchorage today with his new bride Jennifer and enjoys skiing, fishing and most of all flying C-17’s all over the world.
