Capt Jeff Hill was one of the crewmembers killed in a C-17 plane crash on July 28, 2010 in Alaska. The JHLF was created with the mission of providing educational financial assistance for young cadets in the Air Force ROTC program. A memorial scholarship has been created in his name for cadets at the Air Force ROTC detachment at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA).
The Jeff Hill Legacy Fund is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit charitable organization based in Alaska. The board is comprised of community leaders who have come together for a common cause; to keep the memory of Jeff Hill alive through philanthropic support of those pursuing a life of service in the United States Air Force. Thanks to the contributions of generous donors across the nation, this vision becomes reality by awarding academic scholarships to Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) cadets while passing along Jeff’s selfless legacy. On behalf of Jeff, our goal is leave an indelible mark on the lives of those who follow in his footsteps.
