Tyler is a Board Member of the Jeff Hill Legacy Fund and the surviving son of Captain Jeff Hill.
He is the youngest son of Jeff and Rachael and spent his younger childhood growing up around airplanes, 4-wheelers, campers, and snow machines in Alaska, most of which he associates as special times with his dad. In high school, he excelled in academics while participating in Football (winning the MN State Championship 2 times), Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Lacrosse, Basketball, Deca, Math League, National Junior Honor Society, and played piano. He is currently attending Clemson University, majoring in Applied Mathematics, and is looking to follow in his dad’s footsteps as an Air Force pilot. Perhaps C-17s are in his future as well?
Tyler was only 3 years old when his dad died, and unfortunately, doesn’t have a lot of specific memories about him, but through stories of others, he sees him as a leader in his community whose impact is undeniable. One thing he loves about attending JHLF events and being part of this organization is that it gives him an incredible opportunity to know his dad in a different light. He is looking forward to making his own impact on the world and, as a JHLF board member, helping ROTC cadets reach their Air Force goals
