Tyler is a Board Member of the Jeff Hill Legacy Fund and the surviving son of Captain Jeff Hill.
He is the youngest son of Jeff and Rachael and spent his younger childhood growing up around airplanes, 4-wheelers, and snow machines in Alaska, most of which he associates with special times with his dad. Now a freshman in high school, he excels in school while participating in Football, Hockey, Baseball, Deca, National Junior Honor Society, and plays piano. He is looking to follow in his dad’s footsteps as an Air Force pilot, although rather than C17’s he is hoping to fly fighters.
Tyler was only 3 years old when his dad died and unfortunately doesn’t have a lot of specific memories about him, but through stories of others he sees him as a leader in his community whose impact is undeniable. One thing he loves about attending JHLF events and being part of this organization is that it gives him an incredible opportunity to know his dad in a different light. He is looking forward to making his own impact on the word and as a JHLF board member, helping ROTC cadets reach their Air Force goals
